Konopiště Resort in its concept offers two Apartment Houses, Maura and Kunc. KUNC Apartment House represents the first phase of the construction and will offer sport studios, lofts and penthouses.
Concept
The concept of Konopiště Resort is based on the personal approach of the developer, who carefully selected a team of professionals, the goal being to create a new generation of residential living. In addition to the villas and apartments, which are presented in the previous section, we offer the option of buying golf sport studios, lofts or distinctive penthouses in the KUNC apartment house, which will be completed in the first phase of construction along with 4 MAURA houses and majestic villas (STEMPEL, EICHLER and SLÁDEČEK).
Location
Konopiště Resort is located in the beautiful countryside in the immediate vicinity of Jírovice village and Konopiště Chateau with its vast park. The resort is one kilometer away from a golf course, near Benešov and within reach of Prague. All the amenities including school, medical services, shopping and sports facilities are within 3 km of the Konopiště Resort. The gorgeous natural environment enables year round outdoor activities from walking, horseback riding, fishing, skiing and pheasant hunting to yachting at Slapy Reservoir.
Architecture
This project is the result of the cooperation of a carefully selected team of architects. Several generations of leading Czech architects were offered the opportunity to show their creativity and they exceeded expectations. Michal Kunc was commissioned to design an apartment house containing weekend studios for golf lovers who wish to stay over night without having to travel back to Prague, lofts with gardens and exclusive penthouses with terraces. Michal Kunc confesses that the apartment house is a design close to his own heart. Working on the project became a prestigious and personal matter for him, as he feels responsible for the character of the local landscape where he grew up and has loved ever since. He speaks about the building as if it was a living organism: “The building makes a lightweight impression that enriches the place and harmonises with it instead of burdening it. We opted for a mosaic or perhaps a collage, which should guarantee the building’s elegant ageing."
APARTMENT HOUSE KUNC
The house has a total of 51 apartments on three floors. Each flat having its own rather spacious terrace or garden, parking space and private cellar located in the building enhances the comfort. Apartments are composed of 21 golf sport studios, 26 lofts and 4 elegant penthouses with rooftop terraces. The Kunc apartment house has a façade consisting of separate segments that form a rhythmical and dynamic whole, which guarantee privacy to all the inhabitants. Thanks to the variety of floor layouts, designed meticulously by the architect, the developer and the sale team, the layouts of the interiors are very sophisticated to meet the varying requirements of future owners. The garden apartments present an alternative to living in row houses, the penthouses will satisfy even the most demanding clients who require maximum space and comfort, and who prefer maintaining an apartment to a house or villa. The building will feature two front entrances complete with a reception desk and a foyer. The reception desk will offer concierge services providing ultimate comfort. The lounge will contain a comfortable sofa and a plasma television. Sport shows and films will be screened at the weekends, news and documentaries on weekdays. The apartment’s front gardens, which merge with a park, are designed as a meeting point for the residents and as a bonus feature a playground.
