Svoboda&Williams has been providing comprehensive professional relocation services to families and individuals moving to Prague since 1993. We are available 24 hours a day to provide whatever assistance is needed for efficient, smooth and stress-free transition during and after a move.

Home Search:

Svoboda & Williams' knowledgeable relocation professionals listen carefully to individual needs and preferences and search the real estate market to find appropriate properties. We advise on locations and neighborhoods, schools, housing prices, and lease contracts. We screen prospective residences carefully so that clients need view only properties that meet their general requirements.

Settling in:

Svoboda & Williams agents assist in arranging phone lines, Internet, satellite and cable connections. Also: utilities, parking permits, renters’ or homeowners’ insurance, and language and cross cultural training.

Orientation:

Bilingual professionals are available to introduce families to their new environment. A customized city or neighborhood tour may include supermarkets and convenience shops, translations and food equivalents, shopping centers, sports facilities, parks, children’s playgrounds, medical facilities, restaurants and night life.

School Search:

Prior to, or in conjunction with the home search, for families with children, we can arrange and coordinate meetings with, and provide transportation to the international schools.

Visas, residence permits, work permits:

The process of assembling documents and filing for the various permits needed in order to work and live in the Czech Republic can be overwhelming. We provide step-by-step guidance, preparing and filing the required applications, and following through until the documents are issued. We maintain a database of our clients' issuance and expiration dates and provide reminders to assure timely renewal.
