Boom in the development of residential properties

The number of newly constructed apartments is higher every year

The number of newly constructed apartments per year currently matches the number of pre-fabricated apartments constructed during the communist regime. This is the time of a residential property boom in the Czech capital.

Hundreds of residential housing projects are being developed in Prague. People buy apartments beyond the need of place to live; apartments nowadays are seen as investment. Many nourish the hope of profit in the future, as prices for residential properties are moving up every year. This is a trend seen primarily in Prague. Outside, projects are getting started, but the demand there is by no means at the level that we can see in Prague. Their marketability is often hindered, with transactions taking too long and achieving lower prices than expected. < back
