Higher mortgage rates in 2008

Mortgages are going up in the new year

Ceska Sporitelna, one of the largest banks in the Czech Republic has raised its mortgage rates at the beginning of 2008. As higher interest rates by the Czech National Bank are very likely in 2008, Ceska Sporitelna is the latest financial institution to raise the cost of borrowing. You can expect higher mortgage rates from the other market players such as GE Money Bank, UniCredit Bank, BAWAG and CSOB.
