REZIDENCE HERMITAGE
History:
Prague property Residence Hermitage came into existence following the reconstruction of 2 properties dated from the year 1898, whereby, according to the plans of builder Frantisek Schlaffer, the construction of buildings for the graphics factory Unie began from the interior of a former housing block. These buildings were subsequently completed in 1900 upon the addition of a pair of touch-up studios, all of which was further amplified in 1905 and 1906 with the addition of a glazing hall. To this day, UNION print factory stands as an important piece of evidence of industrial architecture from the early 20th century.
Location:
Residence Hermitage is located on Na Dekance street 1,a stone's throw from the beautiful Vysehrad cathedral. The unique Emauzy monastery and impressive Botanical Gardens are in the immediate neighborhood.
